The best way to prepare your horse for the mountains or any trail is to build his confidence and comfort level in a more controlled environment with the types of experiences and obstacles that you might encounter on the trail. Our Trail Confidence Course provides over twenty challenging obstacles for both horse and rider. Additionally, the ranch offers three miles of creek side and meadow trails to confirm your horse's and your newfound confidence. We also have an 80 by 160 foot covered arena and adjoining 60 foot round pen for groundwork and warming up.
Individuals, groups, instructors, and trainers are invited to practice their skills with their horses and students. Whether you are interested in arena work, trail riding, training, or practicing for competitive trail competitions, you'll find it all right here on the ranch at a reasonable price.
Boarding is available as well, and boarded horses enjoy large pastures with covered run-ins.
Park your trailer and spend the night. There are power hookups for six rigs and a shower house with sink, toilet, hot shower; and stalls or paddocks for your horses. Practice the course for several days, bring your group for a clinic, or use the ranch as an overnight base camp from which to ride in the beautiful Marble Mountains.
No extra charge for the beautiful views that have been described as “Idaho in California.”
